Welcome to the web pages of the
Rushden Windmill Band. On these pages you will be able to find out all about the band, it's history, recent and forthcoming engagements and read our latest news, views and information.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
defines a Brass Band as being......

"Strange groups of people who get very drunk, or not, depending on their moral stand point, who then attempt to play music on long metal tubes of different size that have been twisted round to make them almost portable."

Well, we are a British Brass Band based, naturally, in Rushden - a small town in Northamptonshire, UK. We rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 8pm - 10pm at the Rushden Windmill Club, Glassbrook Road (junction with Windmill Road), Rushden.

Rushden is has easy access from the A1, A6, A14, and A45 - please look at the 'general map' and 'local map' for details.
