24.01.08 - SO not fair!, Kev needs a break!

I am sorry to report that after many, many years of loyal service Repiano Cornet player and Contest Secretary, Kevin Bates, has decided he needs a break and left the band.

I'm not sure exactly how long he's been a member - but he must have started when he was wearing short trousers AND we still used 'pounds, shillings and pence' AND you could still get a gallon of petrol for under a £1...!!!

Well maybe not that long! Anyway Kevin will be missed and who knows once he's had a rest he might say...

'I'll be back!'
