Who's Who:

Beckie Dummer - Euphonium.

Beckie (pictured left - nice curtains by the way!) joined the band in  December 2003 and her first contest was the 2004 'Areas', we won...a good start, wouldn't you agree.

Beckie says: "I began playing at the age of 8...on clarinet (luckily she grew out of it...!!), before switching to cornet a year later (phew..!!). I played in a few local bands, but my first experience of 'serious' banding was in 2003 when I joined 'Youth Brass 2000' - on Tenor Horn. However, in 2004 I went back to the Cornet and joined the Rushden Windmill Band on the 'back row'"

In March 2006 Beckie switched to Euphonium....obviously she fancied a trip to Mars (!). We can also tell you she plays both guitar and bass guitar (left-handed no less)...and she likes to change her hair colour...a lot..!!

Oh, and Martin is her Dad...!!!!
