Rushden Windmill Band.
This picture (courtesy of Michael Bruce) was taken outside the Town Hall in Burton-Upon-Trent, 6th March 2005, just after we had played at the Midland 'Areas'. The piece was Tam 'O' Shanter's Ride by Denis Wright....we came 11th by the way..!!! The sun was very bright and the photograph was taken as quickly as possible to avoid too much squinting. As a result the 'rows' are not clearly defined but I'll give it a go - so those pictured are as follows: At the back (L - R): Lisa Adams, Jeremy Lucas, Kevin & Ian Bates, John Dunk and Mark Limbert. The 'in-betweens' (L - R): Dave Dicks, James Hill, Bill Coyne, Julia Crask, Martin Dummer, Debbie Beech, Liam Halloran, Alan Nichols, Sue Wilton and Brian Harris. At the front (L - R): Jane Nichols, David Cox, Beckie Dummer, Eddie Halcrow, Sarah Bates, Roger Malivoire, Elaine Hanson, Sally Bruce, Mark Hanson, Bill Layram and Bernard Hanson. Conductor: Richard Graves. For a laugh - you might like to compare this picture with the ones taken in 2003 and 2006 - just to see how we've aged!!!
