Rushden Windmill Band - Midland 'Areas' - March 2003.
This picture was taken outside the Town Hall in Burton-Upon-Trent in March 2003, just after we had played at the Midland 'Areas'. The piece was Lydian Pictures by Simon Dobson....we came 4th by the way..!!! Those pictured are as follows: Top Row (L - R): Roger Malivoire (playing cornet!), Ian MacDonald, John Dunk and Kevin Bates. Second Row (L - R): Alan Nichols, Julia Crask, Ian Bates, Sue Wilton, Rebecca Hays and Jeremy Lucas. Third Row (L - R): Lisa Adams, Martin Dummer, John Hanson, Brian Harris and Charles Britten. Bottom Row (L - R): Dave Dicks, Jamie Spence, Eddie Halcrow, Bill Coyne, Sally Bruce, Jane Nichols, Sarah Bates, Steve Hamper, Mark Hanson, Bernard Hanson and Bill Layram. Conductor: Richard Graves. ...you know - we should have won.....!!!!!! For a laugh - you might like to compare this picture with the ones taken in 2005 and 2006 - just to see how we've aged!!!
